Extravagantly colored veneers
Tabu is the world market leader in colored veneers. Over the years, the company has successfully developed and advanced particularly environmentally friendly production processes. Particular emphasis is placed on the homogeneity and quality of the structure in order to achieve an unmistakable quality standard.
Light and dark veins are equalized so that not only are different logs the same colour, but a consistent color tone is also achieved within the log. The resulting advantages for the processor are numerous. The pre-colored veneers eliminate the work involved in color matching and manipulation. The coloring enhances the natural, three-dimensional effect of the veneer. Thanks to the high light fastness, it is possible to match veneers in the same color type for years.

Dyed veneer
Natural veneers can be dyed in all thicknesses and according to a color scale (up to 400 possible colors). This is possible in many wood types and qualities, which you can find in the overview.
Multilaminar
It is made up of several layers of veneer, some in different colors, which can also consist of different types of wood. These are pressed into a solid block and then sliced as usual.

FSC® and Ecozero® certified
Sustainability in terms of the environment is also important at Tabu. FSC® and Ecozero® are integral parts of the range. The FSC® seal is widely known in the wood sector. Ecozero® is concerned with the respectful use of resources. The new Tabu Ecozero veneer types are protected by industrial patents. They are sustainable veneers produced without toxic substances and formaldehyde-free adhesives and are covered by FSC Pure®. The LEED standards for environmentally friendly, sustainable construction (“green construcitons”) are also taken into account.
Tabu products can also be ordered in fixed sizes. The usual gluing method as well as stitch and paper gluing are available. Fleece-backed veneers can also be ordered.
